I am currently holding the position of UI Designer at Barnett Waddingham, working on the redesign and development of their employee benefits platform, which also serves external clients. The goal is to enhance the user experience, ensure accessibility, and to deliver a scalable and customisable product that can be easily tailored to the needs of various companies.

UI design
- Structural front-end development of WCAG level AA compliant pages using Bootstrap 5.3 and CSS / Delivery to a third-party team of developers
- Design of new pages and components using Figma / Presentation to stakeholders for approval
- UX research and implementation
- Migration of the full design system and documentation from Adobe XD to Figma
Testing
- Design audit (like-for-like design and code inspection)
- Accessibility testing using accessibility tools (ARCTtoolkit, Silktide, LambdaTest) and screen readers (NVDA, TalkBack, VoiceOver)
- Liaison between the QA team conducting the User Acceptance Testing and the developers (raising bugs on DevOps, overseeing the correction progress, re-testing)
